Paradise Found


The island of San Salvador in the Bahamas is an environment where life is rich and varied. Endagered iguanas, nesting sea birds, tropical ... all » plants, flowers, and of course, the life of the pristine coral reefs.

In the spring, Missouri University of Science and Technology students from the Departments of Biological Sciences and Geological Sciences and Engineering travel to the island for a course in Caribbean biodiversity. Housed at the Gerace Research Center on the island, these Missouri University of Science and Technology students travel the length and bredth of the island learning it's lessons and doing research projects, all the while taking in the Caribbean beauty that can only be described as Paradise Found.
